About ForexLicenses.com
We built ForexLicenses.com to answer one question well: who actually regulates this broker, and what does that mean for my money?
Broker websites list every licence in their group, often in the smallest font on the page. Review sites tend to rank brokers by commission paid. Regulators publish excellent registers, but there are dozens of them, each with its own search tool. We put the pieces together: 511 brokers, 52 regulators and 764 licence records, each linked to the official register so you can confirm it yourself.
What we do
- Map broker brands to the regulators that license their group companies.
- Classify regulators into four tiers using a published methodology.
- Explain in plain English what each licence means: compensation, leverage caps, negative balance protection and complaints routes.
- Record historical failures, exits and mergers, because a broker's past is part of its risk profile.
- Publish guides on verifying licences, spotting clone firms and understanding protection schemes.
What we don't do
- We don't give personal financial advice or tell you which broker to use.
- We don't let commercial partners change Licence Scores or rankings.
- We don't claim a broker is a scam. Where we have no licence on record, we say exactly that.
Keeping data accurate
Licences are granted, varied and cancelled constantly. Every broker page has a "Spotted an error?" form, and corrections with a register link are reviewed by our team. You can also contact us directly.
